担当者より一言: 株式会社ニッピは１００年を超える歴史を持っています。当初皮革中心で始まったのですが、
皮革の主要成分であるコラーゲン・ゼラチン研究を通じて、化粧品、食品、工学部門への応用
を行ってきました。一昨年の募集においても意欲的な研究を応募して頂き大変刺激的でした。
この古くて新しい材料であるコラーゲンの研究を牽引していく若手研究者を応援したいと思っています。

Nippi Award

■ Description
For the research of extracellular matrix. Research needs to be related
to collagen or gelatin. Not only tissue engineering, cell biology,
and nutrition science, but also other scientific area using collagen
will be welcomed. For example, material sciences using collagen.

Oct. 31st, 2012

Grant amount and research support to be provided: up to 500,000 JPY
& Nippi brand-collagen for the research & medical usage, collagen peptide
equivalent to 200,000 JPY

■ Comments from Nippi
Nippi has more than 100 year history. Starting from leather processing,
we conduct the application of collagen and gelatin to cosmetics, foods,
medical usage, and engineering field through basic research.
We were greatly inspired by the grant applications for the Nippi award
we set 2 years ago. We would like to back up young scientists
who can lead collagen research.
